Traditional hot foil remains the highest quality print over other similar foil techniques. The slight debossing created by the application of heat and pressure adds a luxury feel and look to the print.

Luxfer Graphic Arts magnesium, brass, copper, and zinc – are all used in conjunction with the Hot Stamping application. Brass and copper are generally used for long production runs and repeated designs. However, magnesium, either chemically etched or CNC cut, remains the fastest, most cost-effective medium to create hot foil stamping dies, with OptiMag ideally positioned for mid to long press runs.
